Whoever said fashion shows were only about stick figure model, serious faces and a money making industry were right – but once in a while a breath of fresh air hits the industry and I introduce to you the City Moguls annual event.
The City Moguls puts together an annual event that brings together Toronto’s most elite young professionals from various fields including fashion, real estate, entertainers, health and art. Each year City Moguls focuses on a different Canadian charity for the proceeds to be given to, this year over $20,000 was raised for the WE Charity. This event allowed guests to connect with other Toronto entrepreneurs, influencers and create change in the city. With a networking opportunity, fashion and music show, catered food and after party party worth mentioning the entire evening was full of positivity.
The show itself was the most entertaining fashion show I have ever attended – no sunglasses and straight faces in the front row. Performances from singer Aleesia, electric violinist and choreographed dancers busting moves to Beyonce. A divided fashion show for the females and males – the female moguls dressed by Judith & Charles and the male moguls dressed by GOTSTYLE. (See the bio of all the moguls here)
The City Moguls is a definite for anyone in the Toronto area because of its genuine desire to help change the world, uplift local entrepreneurs, create a positive change and do it all in an incredibly joyous fun way and I look forward to being apart of their next events!
