Maybelline: Total Temptation

It’s official, Maybelline New York has officially launched a new franchise – Total Temptation. The products will officially be in stores January 2nd which will consist of three products – a mascara, eye shadow palette and brow definer pencil. The packaging is very chic with matte pale coral finishes.

Referred to as the hero product in the family is the Maybelline Total Temptation mascara. The matte pink packaging gives off a very chic finish. The actual mascara is coconut scented which gives off a fresh, healthy finish. The wand itself grabbed onto every lash and gave my lashes an amazing fullness with a natural curl. I really, really like this mascara and highly recommend it! (Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara – $11.99 CAD)

The Maybelline Total Temptation Definer brow pencil comes with a slanted edge pencil on one end and a small spooly on the other end. For someone with fairly filled eyebrows I found this product didn’t add much definition to my brows and was quite light. I did like the slanted edge allowing you to create precise strokes and with the build in spooly it was designed perfectly. (Maybelline Total Temptation Definer Brow Pencil -$11.99 CAD)

The Maybelline Total Temptation shadow and highlight palette consists of 8 eyeshadows and 2 highlights. It is set up to be like having two palettes combined into one. The left side has 4 eye shadows that you can create a soft, warm peachy look with a golden highlight to finish off the look. The right side is a mauve, purple look that can create a more smoky look and finish off the look with a light, iridiscent purple highlight. (Maybelline Total Temptation Eyeshadow Palette – $17.99 CAD)

Available in stores January 2nd.
