Sorry no Kylie lip kits here- as amazing as they are, it’s a bit overrated if you ask me. Snap out of reality TV and into reality where the makeup world is full of amazing lip products and sets this holiday season. I absolutely love trying out new lip products and I think they make amazing gifts. These lip sets are great because you get smaller travel size products and a variety of colors so you are able to try out the company’s product in a few different colors and then decide which formula and colors you like to buy a full size. Let’s be honest, getting 3 smaller lipsticks is better than 1 full size and this way you get to play around with different colors.
So here are some of my favorite lip products for his holiday season – gift ideas or even for you to try out yourself!
This season Stila has made two different liquid lipstick sets, one is the Bright & Bold and the other Naturally Nude. The Stila liquid lipstick formula is one of my absolute favorites in the liquid lipstick game so I would highly recommend you add this to your list. And if you’re already a fan like me you need to add this to your collection too because 2 of the 3 colors are limited edition! One of my favorite affordable brands is NYX so I had to include some NYX products. Its been a few months since I have been using the NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick and I am obsessed with the formula. They are super creamy, pigmented and hydrating which is a perfect product for the dryness that comes along in the winter. So if you can’t decide from their extensive color selection this vault is a perfect way to play around with every color, from black to baby blue to nudes.

I was gifted a Tarte lip paint & crayon for my birthday this year and it honestly was the best gift I received. I had heard amazing reviews but to experience it myself was just so much better. The formula is exactly as it states- matte, creamy and glides on just like paint. I added this set into my collection after trying one color because I just had to have more colors and this lip set has a perfect combination of winter/holiday colors.

There’s also so many amazing lip products that you can add into your gift and as stocking stuffers. Firstly and most importantly is a good lip balm to ensure your lips are moisturized and soft.
This season EOS has the shimmer balm sphere with the same amazing benefits as the original but with a touch of shimmer, which comes in a frosty white (Pearl) and a baby pink (Sheer Pink). It gives your lips some life worn alone, under or on top of your lipstick.
If you’re look to gift/try an affordable liquid lipstick the Wet n Wild megalast liquid lipsticks are really good for the price point. I swatched them on my arm and the color payoff is amazing, it dries within a minute or so and it lasted all day. When you are wearing it on your lips make sure you have exfoliated and moisturized before hand and once you have applied it wait till it complete dries before you touch your lips or chap them together and you will see amazing results!
To finish your look with some gloss the Maybelline Shine Shot is a definite must have. With just a small drop it elevates your lips to a glossy finish and with all the reflects it gives it such a beautiful shine from every angle.
