It is my favorite time in the city, Toronto Fashion Week! I have been out of town for the past week so I have missed the first two days of shows but I am excited to spend tomorrow at David Pecaut Square attending a few shows for World MasterCard Fashion Week.
Since I have not been able to blog in a few days and have missed the first half of Fashion Week, I wanted to reminisce on the fun and fashion from last seasons shows. I was there for 3 days and was able to attend many of the shows.
(I started my blog less than 2 months ago so these pictures are taken from my phones camera and was unable to capture all the details of these outfits).
On the first day I attended I went to see two menswear collections, Outclass and Klaxon Howl. I was wearing a sheer black dress shirt, ombre fur vest and faux leather pants (H&M). Looking back I wish I had my hair tied up because my long black hair just blended in with the black fur. To add some color to this outfit I paired it with a bright green envelope clutch and these very sparkly Vince Camuto booties.
On the second day I attended it was insanely cold and since I was going to watch the Soia & Kyo show and Rudsak (both are outwear designers) I wanted the focus of my outfit to be on my outwear as well. This jacket is sheep fur all over the center with leather sleeves and accents.Since my hair is fairly long, I wore it up in a pony tail to emphasie all the details of the jacket. I paired with simple faux leather leggings (Topshop) and a fringe purse (H&M). To add a little color to the outfit I wore these Aztec-like green chunky heels (Forever 21) and of course some red lipstick! (MAC Red)
And sadly, on the final day of shows I wore this shirt I got from the Philip Lim for Target collection (told you I went a little wild when it was released). I love the color blocking with the navy blue front and bright satin green on the sleeves and entire back. With the amount of color this shirt already had I kept my pants and heels neutral. To change up from the purse/clutch I wore my faux leather backpack.
This was such an amazing week and I had so much fun putting all these looks together. I tried to keep it fairly different each day, with a differently hairstyle each day and different types of purses.
What is your favorite look from these 3? I will definitely be wearing these pieces this fall/winter.
I cannot wait to go to shows tomorrow! Who is else is going to be at the tents this week?!
