Does anything excite you more than new makeup at the drugstore? Maybelline has been releasing so many amazing new products  that last few months that are so innovative- I was so excited to try out a some of their new releases to create this look.

The Maybelline Dream Cushion Foundation is my biggest obsession from the bunch. I have been so curious to try out a cushion product and this one  beat all my expectations. It keeps your product tidy and compact, you get to control the amount of product you use and it’s so much fun to use! I prefer to apply it with a beauty blender straight from the cushion which leaves you with a medium coverage with the most natural, luminous finish. This is my absolute favourite foundation at the moment.

Another major highlight is the Maybelline FaceStudio Master Blush Color & Highlighting Palette. (15.99) I am a sucker for blush palettes, but this one especially has such a good range of colors from a peachy pink to a dark purple – it works for every look. Oh and lets talk about the highlight, oh my Gosh! I never expected it to be my absolute favourite and wow does it give you a bright glow. It is a universal color and I can see it looking amazing on every skin tone!

I finished off the look with one of the new lipsticks from the Maybelline Insti- Matte Nudes collection – made up of 10 nude colors that let’s you find the perfect nude match for your skin tone. I wore the color “Almond Rose” which is a mix of brown and pink tones. It is a very creamy and smooth formula, which is different from matte lipsticks that tend to be drying.

As for the eyes I used the Maybelline 24Karat Nudes Palette which is a mix of 12 shades from golds, bronze and gem shades – the eyes looks you can create are limitless. The gold shimmer shade is a definite standout and I love it for a pop of shine as well as the deep purple shimmer shade which is such a beautiful shade.
