New in: Joe Fresh Beauty 2017

Starting with the eyes, Joe Fresh has released 5 new eye shadows with a mix of mattes and shimmers. The matte colors are cool toned and work great as transition and crease colors. The two shimmer shades (pretty penny and meteor). Pretty Penny is gold shade, used on my lid and Meteor us a navy blue, used on my bottom lash line. The matte shades has really good pigment and worked well and blended with ease. The new shades are great for creating everyday neural looks (Cinnamon, Champagne and Cacao). The shimmer shades needed a few layers plus some setting spray to give it a good pigment and a longer lasting desired shade. I also tried out the new Joe Fresh 8 hour Waterpoof Kohl liner ($8) in Navy- which complimented this look very well. I found you needed to add a few swipes to really get the color vibrant but it is a great addition to your everyday look and gives a nice pop (it is also available in burgundy $8). It is waterproof and fairly creamy so you can smudge it and get a more smokey look.

My favorite addition to the Joe Fresh line up is the cream highlight stick in “pink pearl” (Joe Fresh Highlight Stick $10) I honestly cannot live a day without highlight so you can only imagine my excitement when I opened the stick and immediately swatched it. It is such a pigmented stick with the perfect hues of opal and pink sheen. I wear this highlight every single day and top it off with a powder highlight to set it all in place.
