Almost Fashionable

It’s the most wonderful time of the year for fashion lovers, award season! Not only that but it is almost the beginning of Fashion month. Let’s start of with this past weekend’s Grammy Awards fashion which spanned out from pre parties, red carpet and after parties. If you follow my page on Facebook or Instagram (go do it now if you don’t, I’ll wait) you got a peak at some of my drool worthy outfits from the weekend. So here are my top outfits of the weekend, I didn’t do a “top 3/5/10” list but instead  the cream of the crop, the ones that deserve a moment of silence.

From beginning to end, I will start with the one we love to hate, Kim Kardashian at the annual Roc Nation brunch party. She recently Instagrammed her new hair cut and I am loving it! I have good and bad days with Kim, let’s not even the mention her Grammy Awards outfit, but this outfit looks absolutely breathtaking. The color, short hair, minimal makeup and Cleopatra-esque jewellery made for a stunning look and I wish she would dress this beautifully more often.

Now to Sunday night’s Grammy red carpet I introduce to you teenage country singer, turned pop singer but should be a Victoria Secret Angel, Taylor Swift. Hands down the best dressed of the night, she looks so beautiful and the way she wore this Elie Saab dress with style and confidence it really makes me love her more. She really is that girl next door that you just want to be best friends with, well I definitely do.

Another one of my favorites from the red carpet was Gwen Stefani in Atelier Versace.This entire look is beyond perfect I was in awe of her beauty, seriously when did Gwen become this gorgeous? Her face looks so fresh, clean and had this glow like I have never seen before. Let’s talk about the star of this look, this handmade jumpsuit fitted to perfection with the most stunning details. I am loving seeing jumpsuits on the runway, Emma Stone wore a Lanvin jumpsuit at the Golden Globes and looked amazing and I am hoping this trend is here to stay. (see my jumpsuit look here)

And last but definitely not least, on to my favorite person ever, Kylie Jenner. Let’s be honest, this girl can do no wrong, not in my eyes at least.(check out my attempts to be her, here and here) Apparently there are people out there who don’t like her, is this true? I find it hard to believe. Check out her look from the GQ x Giorgio Armani after party and tell me you still don’t like her. She out shined all of her sister’s last night, even model Kendall Jenner. Kylie is wearing a dress by Steven Khalil and Kendall was wearing Elie Saab.
